Abiding by the same principles and teaching style as GTC, North Taekwondo promotes traditional Taekwondo and teaches poomsae (forms) and sparring under Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo) headquarters in Korea.

North Taekwondo's fitness programs promote health and martial arts fitness for students at every age and skill level. Cardio, muscle building, strength training, and agility are a few of the many exercises taught at our classes.

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that promotes discipline and respect, in addition to physical fitness. It made its debut as a demonstration Olympic sport at the 1988 Seoul Games, and became an official medal sport at the 2000 Sydney Games. It is one of two Asian martial arts included in the Olympics.

Our mission is to promote the sport of Taekwondo and its tenets of Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit.

Instructor | Our instructor will teach Taekwondo according to World Taekwondo Kukkiwon standards.

Athletes| Our student athletes will learn the 5 tenets of Taekwondo through our Taekwondo classes. They will conduct themselves with discipline and respect in the dojang, and build strong, humble character during practice.

Black Belts | Our black belt athletes will carry themselves with the high standards of Taekwondo at all times, both in their athletic lives and in their personal lives; they will lead others and teach as they have been taught; and they will be loyal to their school, master, and martial art.
